Cushioned Vinyl
A
PVC composite comprising tough surface layers over cushioning foam, cushioned
vinyl can be viewed as the superior modern successor to linoleum. While just as
waterproof and even more durable, it has warmth and comfort underfoot more
commonly associated with carpet.
We supply vinyls by all the major
manufacturers including Novilon, Nairn, Armstrong, Sommer, and
Gerflor.
Note: Unlike carpet, vinyl cannot be stretched to fit, so
needs greater precision and skill to install. For this reason, some companies
avoid it. Carter-Derrick's team are, however, very happy to fit it for you.
